diy typo fail... reorder or make it work?

I made this welcome sign on vista print and I double checked it but I guess with everything going on and all the projects I’ve been doing I missed a typo! Such a minor typo that I can totally see how it slipped through.

My wedding is June, 16 and the sign says June, 6
I could insert a “1” but with how close the font is and getting an exact match would be difficult so I think it would bug me. Instead I had the idea of covering it up all together. We love collecting photo booth strips so I cut up some double prints I had to make it look “on purpose”.

Does this look okay? Should I just order a new sign? My fiancé likes it, but I really don’t want anything tacky looking at our wedding.

P.S. excuse the bad lighting for the sign, it looks bright white in person

I like how you did it with the pictures in the second pic. I'd keep it like that and save the money of having to order a new one.

I think the photos look really cute on your sign! If it bothers you and it's in your budget (I have no idea how much signage is), then you could still reorder it. But I think the photos are a good personal touch, and it looks very unique.

Wow! Never would have thought of the pictures! That’s a great idea. But, I also don’t think anyone will notice a sharpie one either. No need to order a new sign!

The pictures are a nice personal touch an hides the typo fine! If it is in the budge and really going to bother you, I guess order a new one but I don't think its necessary!

The pictures are a super cute idea and I woulda never thought of something like that!! Everyone already knows the date anyway lol and I doubt this is something you’ll keep after the wedding anyway so no point in reordering!

Also Vistaprint has excellent customer service, you could contact them and ask if they would reprint it. The worst that could happen is they say no.

I love this idea for a mess up and it looks great! Just would clean up the cuts of coarse (looks likt there is a white baorder around some pictures)

I think it looks good with the pictures and also that you could squeeze a 1 in there and make it look good. But, as PP said, their customer service may be able to help you. I printed like 200 envelopes then moved and they reprinted all of them with my new address for free.

They have very good customer service! They have credited me back, given me upgraded shipping, placed new orders for silly things. Contact them on the chat and explain the situation and if there is anything they can do. I felt like they just kept giving away orders!
