My DB dress.

@Debbie K. I've always had my eye on that one, but there was always one that looked better on me when I went to DB to try on gowns (4 appts!). But it was always on the short list. Alas, it'll stay in the store. Found out that it didn't matter what style dress it was on me, but a sweetheart neckline made the whole thing. If that had a sweetheart neckline, it would have been the one.

My pictures aren't the best and I don't think pictures do it justice, also I am in the ivory version, but I ordered white. I love it so much! Not what I expected picking but I hate taking it off! Also probably going to alter it to at least a small sweet heart.

I tried that one on Saturday too. Added a crystal sash to it. It was up there, until she brought out the Oleg Cassini. The last one always seems to be the best one... at least in my book.

Also, your dress was my runner up, I loved that one!

Jen - Great minds think alike! I am leaning towards no sash for my dress but I just don't know, hmph.

I think the sash made all the difference. It broke up the "blank space" in the mid section.

The couple times I have gone back to show people the dress have not been so good on the customer service side :\ I think I will only ask for my first sales consultant now when I go, haha.

I love this thread. I'm going to DB in 2 weeks and I love seeing the dresses on real women and not the 14 year old size 0 model in the picture. And actually one dress I wrote off online I saw in this thread and it looks a million times better in real life! (Sometimes I wonder why they choose the stock photos they do...)
