Cute flats anyone??? I am 5'7 and FH is 5'9

Tamara, on December 20, 2011 at 5:31 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 16

So FH isn't much taller than me we are getting married on a cruise ship so I was wondering if anyone has some great ideas of some cute flats.. I haven't picked out the dress yet but I know that I don't want any sort of train at the longest floor length. I wouldn't mind having a color flat but I want something that is cute but pops.. Any ideas ladies.. I def know that my dress will be simple but elegant maybe with a low back..

I actually think I finally found my wedding shoes. I am 5'10 and so is my FH so any heal is out of the question for me. I actually got them from Payless. You can't beat 17 bucks.

I saw them online the other week and loved them and knew I had to go find them and try them on. They are really cute and comfortable. The gold glitter has enough pop for me without being crazy, since crazy wouldn't go with my dress.

I have the same problem so I bought these shoes off ebay from this exact seller. They came pretty fast like a week and they fit good and they are pretty cute and simple.

I was thinking about these, in person they are alot cuter, but they show to much toe crack. I also saw them at steinmart.

My shoes are not flats but are a really small heel. If i walked in heels they would be taking me away because I broke my ankle. My FH wishes i could wear heels because he is 6'4 and Im only 5'4. I got my shoes at davids bridal, and I had them dyed to match my dress.

I'm not sure what your style is, the colors of your wedding, or what your price point is....but there are some beautiful flats on Etsy.

Here is where you can find the blue shoes with lace

Here's the link to the red flats

Here's the link to the elegant white flats with blue flower and ribbon

These purple ones are simple and elegant...you can find them here

You can find the peacock flats here.

The other purple shoe can be found here

Looks like most of these can be customized.

Another option could could look into is getting some pretty basic flats and purchasing a shoe clip flower for your shoes to dress them up or customize them to your style. I know there are gals on Etsy that make those clips too Smiley smile

Here is what I'm wearing - they are Cole Haan Air Tali Jewel Ballet. My colors are plum and red, so they fit right in!

I had the same problem when I got married. I looked everywhere for flat shoes, but none of them were fancy enough for a wedding dress! I ended up finding them at a gown shop - stores like that often have a good selection and they can usually be dyed any color you'd like.

    Good luck!

Me and FH are opposite of you, I'm 5'9 and he's 5'7 lol... I too will be wearing flats, but I'd like to find cute red sandals.
