Curious...how did they make these paddle programs?

You can buy expensive templates on a disc that come as a kit with everything you need.

OR

You can go to google images and search "swirly gif" and a bunch of designs will come up. Thats what I did for my program. Then use MS Word to type it up and design as wanted. Then print on nice paper or if you can find it, paper that is perforated in a design and then punch it out after its printed.

Then buy a box of popsicle sticks from a craft store. Either glue them to the back of the program or spray paint them first and then glue them on. Take a nice piece of thick scrapbook paper cut it slightly larger than the program and glue to the back of the stick to hide it.

Its a lot of work and I ran out of time so I didn't get the programs I wanted for my wedding. Luckily my MOH and her husband designed and cut out the programs for me so I could get other last minute things done instead. In the end, most people don't keep them anyway and they did a great job so I was happy.

We made these for my brother's wedding. One of the BM had them printed at a local printing co. They were flat and needed to be folded around the stick. We used spray glue to hold the stick in between the two sides of the program. Pretty quick and easy job with an assembly line.

I am doing them with postcards from Vista print, you can play around with them ALOT and get pretty close to what you are looking for

And Kimberly are you able to make yours vertical if you are using post cards?

I did mine in word. Haley has a template on her profile. It's like the heart one. I didn't use it because it wasn't big enough for the things that I wanted on there but it gave me some ideas and I did my own.

Look on orientaltrading.com or ebay. I found ebay to be the most affordable. Hear is a pic of what I bought. You can print whatever you want on it.

In microsoft word, if you click on add text box to your document, you can angle the wording any way you want.

I would recommend hiring a professional designer to create and print your design, then you can assemble them yourself. I have done a few fan programs like this, the handles are available on ebay for a reasonable cost. A black and white design can cost less than full color.
