Cranky pants Monday

I'm just over tired. We watched this thing about back to the future on Netflix last night and stayed up too late. Also we got up earlier than usual, because fh has to go to Vegas for work for the week.

I'm just cranky because it's Monday.

My cousin introduced me to coffee-flavored vodka on Saturday...which I drank a whole lot of, as if it were just coffee. I was hungover all day yesterday. And now I wish I could stay home today and re-do my Sunday.

My eye will NOT stop twitching - it's been doing this for MONTHS and it is driving me INSANE.

Also it won't f-ing stop raining.

I'm cranky because my brother in law was in a wreck Tuesday. We up and ran out of the house when we got the call. He got ran off the road on his motorcycle, laid the bike down and went about 40 feet when he hit a guard rail. He had brain surgery upon arriving at the hospital. Massive brain injury, part of his brain was removed, multiple broken bones in his head, possible paralysis and won't know what other injuries due to the brain damage until he wakes up. His blood pressure is sky high and jaw surgery scheduled for today may get rescheduled. 3-6 months til they will put plates in his head or the right side of his skull back in. Scary time for our family and beyond emotional. That's why I'm cranky, emotional and a complete mess if you catch me at the wrong time. :l

It's 6 am and I'm at the airport. And I think they gave me the middle seat. Ugh. :-(

@Rebecca Oh my gosh. That is absolutely awful!! I don't know what to say. Thinking of you and your family.

@Rebecca, wow what a terrible thing your brother and your whole family is going through, I'm so sorry! Sounds super scary!! I don't know if this is rude to ask (so sorry if it is), but was he wearing a helmet? I ride a moped around here and always wear my helmet but I'm still scared that it isn't enough. I really hope he gets better!!

I have a school assignment due tomorrow that requires answers from someone from a different ethnic or cultural background from me. I reached out to friends/co-workers on FB and said I needed the answers back by Sunday. Three people offered to help. NO ONE has returned the questionnaire (which I sent Thursday). @Rebecca I am so sorry for what your family is experiencing. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. It's Monday which means it's back to chaos all week. Fh left for work at 4am, will get home just in time for me to take our oldest to karate tonight. Have birthday party for youngest this weekend that I need to finish getting for because tomorrow I have my wisdom teeth pulled. Oldest is a monster in the morning and I dread having to wake him up. Honestly, is 9 too young for coffee (joking!!! I wouldn't give it to him)

@Kimi, I'm sure there are some people on here that could help you with your survey! Shoot girls spend 15 minutes trying to find dresses that other girls on here might like, I'm sure a survey (unless it takes like an hour) would be pretty easy! I think based on your picture I am not a different background, but if I was, I'd take it!

@Rebecca - wow, I will be keeping your family in my prayers. No real crankiness from me, yet. But my boss is returning from a two week vacation so I'm sure that will change soon.

I'm cranky because I worked all weekend at my second job and now I'm going to my FT job! Looking forward to next weekend! First day off I'll have in over 3 weeks!

ETA: Rebecca, I just saw your post. I'm so very sorry about your BIL. I hope he pulls through and has a speedy recovery!
