Anyone else struggle with eye bags? **Update with pic after juenesse trial

Jenn B, on June 8, 2015 at 9:25 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 27

After my make up trial, I realized that all of the concealer under my eyes to cover my dark circles and bags actually just settled in the creases and made me look older.

A lady that works with my mom sells Jueness- has anyone ever tried it? The video makes it look amazing.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-3085246/Miracle-Botox-cream-popular-new-infomercial-appears-erase-eye-bags-just-45-seconds.html

Anyone have any miracle creams they use? I drink TONS of water everyday and I eat healthy (on a diet for wedding.) I'm not sure why they're so bad.

I also have problems with eye bags, though I suspect mine is hereditary. Definitely looking to see if anyone has any good suggestions.

Zoni- have you seen the Jueness stuff? The link I posted? Wondering if it's too good to be true.

Generally speaking, I can't afford anything I can't buy at Wal-Mart. And I've learned from experience that if something sounds too good to be true, it generally is.

This might sound weird but I keep two spoons in my freezer, and on days when they're really bad I put the bottom of the scoop part of the spoons under my eyes and it does seem to help.

ETA: I also do it with my eyebrows after getting them waxed to reduce redness!

I have the same problem with make-up settling into the creases under my eyes. Clinique makes this cream called "all about eyes". Life changer!

Ugh. Yes. I hate them. No matter how much sleep I get, water I drink, whatever, I have them. Always.

I haven't found anything that completely gets rid of them. But I've used these under eye roller things from Garnier or Olay that work pretty well. I keep them in my fridge. I've also used a few other under eye creams that work. Right now (because I'm poor for the wedding) I'm just keeping an intensive moisturizer in the fridge and using that. The cold helps the best!

ETA: I've used the All About Eyes from Clinique. I couldn't remember the name, but it does work really well!

Oh, good suggestions. I don't know why i've never tried applying cold to them.

I read that witch hazel was super awesome for that problem.. so i've been doing two applications a day of that.. and I will say that my skin looks WAY better, even just after a week- but no difference on the eyes.

You know, I bet mine are worse right now from allergies too.

Does allergy medicine help with that, Valerie?

I have extremely bad dark circles.

Witch hazel definitely helps. I'm in need of more so my eyes are back to being awful. I just use concealer under my foundation and that helps, I'm also waiting on my colour corrector in the mail.

I know that if you use tea bags that it will help.

If you can't find anything that helps, you can ask your photographer to edit them out. That's what I plan on doing.

I have an eye roller that I use, and sometimes eye strips that I sleep with. I think caffeine helps too-- putting cold teabags on your eyes. using an eye roller or eye cream with caffeine in it.

So- I posted about that Juenesse stuff- the "miracle eye cream" .. well my mom brought me a sample from her friend that sells it... no kidding, y'all. It seriously worked! It sort of glues your wrinkles together.. it's not a fix for the long run- but for a special occasion? Perfect!

Sorry it's a dark pic- but the difference was huge!

I'm not sure how much the big tube is but you can buy like three samples on amazon for 10 bucks (each sample should last like 2-3 times.)

I'm totally getting more for the wedding.

I use GlamGlow's bright mud eye treatment. It's a little pricier, but it's the only thing I've actually seen results from on myself.
