Hi all! I've been wanting to post this for days but, you know, life :p
As some of you know, we changed our plans numerous times from having our wedding with friends and family on Maui, to doing it at my aunt's farm, to downsizing to a public park and a nice dinner to finally deciding to elope on the island of Kauai. We were engaged for almost 2 years with some numerous life changes in that time, so finally getting married has been such a weight off of us!
Our wedding day was much more relaxed than I ever imagined it would be. We had an oceanfront cottage and we got to sleep in and enjoy the ocean view from the rocking chairs on our lanai before we started getting ready. Then we made the 2 hour drive to the North shore to meet with our officiant and photographer. Luckily it was warm but overcast for our ceremony so we weren't totally sweating balls. Also, I was 100% convinced I was going to bawl my eyes out, but no tears here! DH did tear up though
