One musician cancelled on me, and now my friend who was going to lead folk dancing at my reception cancelled on me as well. At this point I’m not even surprised when people let me down because it seems like that’s all people do. My chest physically hurts. I’m almost looking forward to the wedding just being over more than the day itself.
Just needed to vent. I’m sick and tired of crying all the time but it’s like I’m let down at every turn.

That's rough. Is the musician you hired a reputable vendor? If so, check your contract because you can easily get your money back if she cancelled on you, and you can use that money to quickly find and hire a replacement.
If the musician is a friend, then as annoying as the situation is, I'd try not to blame her. The Covid situation was very different back in March, and mandatory quarantines were not a factor back then. I can't even begin to count the number of things I committed to back in March and have since had to back out of due to Covid. Try to look past this and hang in there.

I felt your pain. My wedding is next week. I had the venue cancel, dj canceled, then pastor canceled! Just think one door closed for the better and you get to pick again, maybe an even better choice you had before. Head up and move on to NEXT!

Just had one of my best friends who was our usher cancel on us. Second person in two days. Neither covid related. I can’t cope with this another time
