Disappointed about my Bridal Bouquet :-(

I ordered my Bridal Bouquet, 7 bridemaid bouquets, 7 groomsmen bouts, 1 groom bout, and few extra bouts from Budget-bride.com. My order arrived yesterday (2 weeks earlier... No complaints there) and I loved everything that came EXCEPT my Bridal Bouquet. I kept looking at it and tried to justify it...

The picture to the right is from the website and the picture to the left is what I received. They look NOTHING alike to me. The one on the website looks ivory or off-white and the one I got looks "peachy". What do you all think?

Wait. You picked something and it showed up looking nothing like the photo and now she says you have to pay more to make it look like the photo? AM I MISSING SOMETHING?

You have every right to be disappointed. Actually, I'd be more than disappointed. Your finished product is a poor reproduction of the advertised piece. What you selected is lovely -- what you got is not what you selected. It certainly doesn't look like something with a $165 price tag.

I don't know who put that bouquet together (and I don't want to know), but I'm very curious as to whether the advertised photo is actually her work or a photo she found online. I've done silks for years, and it is difficult to believe that the person who did the first bouquet is the person who did the second bouquet. There is an entirely different design aesthetic and approach to the advertised bouquet.

To begin with, the purple flowers are a completely different shade of purple (and probably of lower quality than the advertisement photo). The advertisement photo shows a more natural looking flower with varying tones of purple and they seem to be a more appropriate size for the piece. Secondly, in the advertisement, the purple flowers are placed as accents -- they are flush with the white roses and they are skillfully placed around the bouquet. Their petals may extend beyond the roses, but they shouldn't be sitting on top of the white flowers. In the finished product, it almost looks like purple moths have landed all over your bouquet. Also, there far too many of them. When it comes to the white (peach) roses in your bouquet, I cannot clearly see the shape of roses. It almost looks like hyrdrangea. Part of the beauty of bouquets are the individual shapes of the flowers, and I'm just not seeing good outlines. There are so many beautiful white garden rose reproductions available, so I'm confused by the pieces in this bouquet. You also have no greenery. You may have told her to leave that out -- but it you didn't, you're entitled to some. If you intend to ask for some, make sure to tell her that you want the silvery greenery in the picture, not the deep green you'll probably get.

I would not pay another cent for a redo. It wouldn't matter to me if it she was replacing the purple flowers with orchids or anything else. Honestly, for a silk bouquet at $165, your piece should be realistic enough to fool the eye, and the design should be gorgeous.

As I said, I don't want to know the name of the business that sold this to you, but I believe you can purchase a live bouquet for less than $165, and a good silk for much less. Good luck.

I know you said you don't want to spend thousands on real flowers but are you sure you couldn't find real flowers for less than the artificial ones? My bride bouquet was $125 and BM bouquets were only like $35 each. I hope and pray you didn't pay $100 for each BM bouquet. That is outrageous!

Um if you aren't happy, I would definitely get that fixed ASAP!

@Monica M- Oh nooooo I did not pay $100 each for my BM bouquets. They were $45 each. The listed price for my Bridal bouquet was $150 but she only charged me $100 because of the size of my order.

I am still waiting for the replacement bouquet... :-(

That's some bologna! I would be very dissapointed and upset I agree with the centerpiece floral design vendor there's a good chance the original photo was not hers. You paid for one thing and got another and then she tells you she will have to change some things to make it work and tried to charge you more I'd honestly go find someone else to do my bouquet and call the BBB because that's some shady business
