They want you to come sit and watch them cook and then they want you to buy expensive cookware Smiley smile Supposedly you get your free gift no matter if you buy anything or not, but I've heard the sales people are really pushy.

We went to one for simplicity gourmet (I think basically the same people) They give two aprons, his/hers a voucher for a 3 day 2 night trip this is the no matter if you buy or not gift. WE went 01/14/2011 our subsequent order took about a 3 weeks before we got it and the knives we bought just came this past Saturday back order so they said NOT HAPPY about it at all. They feed you a little sample of the food cooked. The pots and pans are a great item to have I can see the benefits it's just WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY to expensive. But you can be the judge.

We got the call and let me tell you, it was some shady stuff...first they sent us to the 4th floor of a hotel that only had 3, the "presentation room''was about the size of my bathroom, and the rep was over 30 min late. we didnt even stay. i dont think it was the one Jallon K is talking about

I just spoke with someone who said we had won a free 3 days 3 night stay at the Wyndham resort in Mexico, Bahamas or Dominican Republic no purchase necessary. Is this a scam?

Jessica, I got the same call today!! Has anyone responded to any of your inquiries about this whole thing? I straight up asked the girl (Ashley) that called me what's the deal. Told her that people said it was a scam on the Knot.com and she swore that it is not that no matter what, whether we purchase or not, we get the free package and its their way of advertising. We are scheduled to go Saturday to see what it is all about....would love to hear from someone that has gone

I got this exact same call today!!!! I got offers for two 3day/2night honeymoon packages. One was for Mexico, Bahamas, and the Domnican Republic; and the other was for 28 different locations in the US. We are supposed to go Sunday. Is this really worth my time??

It seems like no one knows what's up with this whole deal. I also got a call for the Dinner$ two and i was online getting directions to the hotel. The hotel they were going to send me to is an unfinished hotel in Ohio and when I tried to call the number of the hotel i got a voice recording saying that there is no such number and to try and re-dial. My feelings on this whole thing is that its a scam and that you should not go.

Received a call today. I asked alot of questions. The wedding bands you can choose from are from 40 styles and are titanium and grossly over priced. They had the same rings for under 100.00 at kays jewelers. You have to stay an hour to an hour and a half and complete presentation of cookware in order to obtain prize and then they give you codes and you have to order all of the items online. It's similar to a time share but they are selling cookware. Would not bother going.

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY WE BOUGHT THE PANS WHICH THEY TURNED OUT TO BE AWESOME!!WE WENT TO SEE THE PRESENTATION WHICH WAS FUN. THEY WERE NOT PUSHY AT ALL. AND YES YOU DO GET EVERYTHING THEY TOLD YOU ON THE PHONE.EVERYTHING IS ABOUT $1,200 YOU GET A LOT OF STUFF WITH YOUR ORDER. I WOULD SAY THE 3DAY 2 NIGHT TRIP IS NOT WORTH IT THEY TOLD ME ITS ONLY WORTH ABOUT 600 BUT THE 5 DAY 4 NIGHT CRUISE IS WORTH IT PLUS THE WEDDING BANDS PLUS THE GLASSES PLUS THESES AWESOME CHEF KNIFES. WELL WORTH IT!!! YOU WOULD SPEND AT LEAST 600 ON THE WEDDING BANDS BUY THERE SELVES THAT'S HALF OF WHAT YOU WOULD PAY RIGHT THERE!

NOT A SCAM NOT A SCAM!

I don't think this is a scam... There are fees associate with both the rings and the trip as they tell you up front. The company they use for the trip is (per the reviews I've read) very difficult to deal with though. But my fiance and I went and decided that we DID like the cookware and got some (the man wasn't pushy at all, either) we just really liked it!) We later decided it was too expensive for us right now and overnighted them a letter asking to cancel (you have until midnight the third day to cancel). They immediately called & emailed confirming the cancel and said they had already cashed the check... but we did receive a refund check less than 2 weeks later. It's been about 2 months and we haven't heard a peep from them. Judging by the way they handled it, this is definitely not a scam. They did everything exactly as promised and other than our impulsiveness it was an overall positive experience.

I had originally received 2 calls in the same day and was told I was ineligible because my soon to be hubby was in the Military and he had to be present. Today I received another call and they said it fine that he could not be present. The rep on the phone discussed the gifts and told me the fees up front. I am still a little iffy to actually go to a show, any feedback if you have seen any single person present would be helpful. I am afraid to drive to the hotel and get turned away since my fiance will not be present..

My fiancé & I just went to this event on the 13th.. the guy was very funny..not pushy. He told us what we got for coming & the extra fees like the $25 insurance fee for each wedding band. You get a 2 night voucher for a trip you just need to pay airfair & taxes. if you purchase something you get a 5 night cruise with Carnival Cruise Lines. My fiancé and I enjoyed the food..I finally spoke to someone today because our order still hadn't came in and they said we were not approved for the line of credit since my fiancés credit is bad & I am a student. So we are cancelling our order..they gave us the option of making 4 monthly payments and then having our set mailed to us but we do not wish to do that. The total price for the pots & pans ended up being around $2300 with taxes & shipping.
