I've run into a problem. My venue only offers black napkins for free. That means $1 per napkin of any other color. I don't want to spend hundreds on napkins. So that leaves me with black napkins. Doesn't that also mean that I need black overlays or tablecloths? I hadn't quite pictured a wedding...

Do you have any suggestions to lighten things up without getting charged $200 in napkins?

Can they do white overlays? The black napkins will be a contrast that way.

Yes they can! Would you do a white overlay with a white table cloth?

I would do a black base (if it doesn't cost more) with a white overlay and use the black napkins for added contrast, If it does cost too much more - do white overlay with black napkins. Let your napkins and centerpieces be the contrast on the table.
