Differentiating Bridesmaid Dresses

Hello everyone! So, my bridesmaids are located all over the place, and I really loved the idea of everyone choosing their own dress and style, but having them all be the same color (burgundy). So to help them out, I gave them several options to choose from on www.lulus.com . They all chose their favorite dresses, and I ordered them myself just to be sure they were all the same colors in person (Lulus has free shipping and returns). The problem is that every single one of the dresses was a slightly different shade. My question is, how big of a problem is this? Will that look bad if all of the dresses are slightly differentiating shades of the same color? Or would it be fine? I'm starting to lose my mind a little bit over here trying to decide so any insight anyone could give me would be so very much appreciated! Smiley smile

Thank you everyone! This made me feel a LOT better about this. Here's two more pictures of the dresses. I think that I agree with what a lot of you said here: that it's a personal preference thing, which I've come to the conclusion that I'm perfectly okay with it, and that as long as it's not just one that looks different from the rest, it will look intentional, which is important.

    Thank you all so much!!

It would bother me, but i like the uniform look. All my girls are in the same style and color. We originally were going to let the groomsmen where whatever black shoes they had, but the guy who we ordered the mens attire from, said that in digital pictures that will be the thing that stands out is the not matching. So we decided to get them all the same shoes too. But again, thats just me.

I think it looks great! I'm doing the same thing! Everyone ordered different "wine" dresses from David's Bridal. DB completely messed up most of the girl's orders, put in the wrong wedding date (running the risk of dresses coming in late) and so forth. They said that everything would be dyed in the same dye lot - that definitely didn't happen, as they are all coming in at different times. I kindof like the somewhat different shades but it's all personal preference!

I did the same exact thing! All of my bridesmaids are getting their dresses from lulus in burgundy! I was a bit worried about this at first but it doesn't bother me. I've seen photos where the shades of the dresses are slightly different and it still looked beautiful. That's not a bad difference in the photo, but its totally up to you! I think it looks good though.

It's honestly up to you. I also did the mix matched look with my girls and they're all wearing blush. They're not all exactly the same shade of blush but very close and it doesn't bother me. I figure in pictures you probably won't even be able to tell and it personally doesn't bother me.

My girls all ordered extremely different dresses but of the same shade. The only requirement was that it was the same material. We ordered from Azazie and all but two will be dyed at the same time. One couldn't because of a satin belt, the other hasn't been ordered yet, but I was told the difference will be minimal

I am having all my bridesmaids with the same color but different tones. I dont like it that they all have to look the same. I prefer a slight difference in color.
