Different or same dress for matron and maid of honors

All of my bridesmaids are choosing their own style, each person also got their own color for an ombré type of look, similar to this photo.

Mine has a diff style. Hers is the only short one while the others opted maxi

My MOH has the same dress but a different color than the BMs. The BMs are all in plum and the MOH will be in sangria/berry.

My girls ordered their dresses from Azazie - I told them a color and asked that they buy floor-length dresses, but otherwise let them pick whatever they wanted. By pure coincidence, my MOH ended up deciding between a dress with a same-colored lacy bodice and a dress with short flutter sleeves (she ultimately went with the second), while the bridesmaids chose slightly plainer, sleeveless dresses, so she'll stand out at least a little!

I let my maid of honor and all bridesmaids choose the style of dress they wanted, but kept the color the same.

I wanted everyone in a completely different color. So in order to have some uniformity, they will all be wearing the same dress.
I'm a big girl, so I chose a dress I felt would look ok and cover me comfortably. So my bigger bridesmaids will be in a flattering cut, and my more modest bridesmaids will be comfortable with what I chose too.

All of my girls have different styles but the same color. My Matron of Honor did choose a high low dress, whereas all my other girls have long

Everyone is wearing the same color but I am having the matron of honor in a different style dress.

My MOH is wearing a slightly different dress in the same color as the rest of the BM's. She asked and I told her it would be okay. Her dress is very similar so it isn't "in your face" different, but its just different enough to make her feel a little special.

All of my girls chose their own style and they all wore the same color. I loved that it let them express themselves and choose something they were comfortable in but also look cohesive.

I have 2 MOH and they will be in the same dress as everyone else but different colors, but only because I have every other bridesmaid in 2 different colors so they are alternating. This is the dress and colors we are using

My maid of honor is wearing the same dress as the other bridesmaids. She is going to have different flowers than the other bridesmaids though.

My MOH is probably wearing the same color as the bridesmaids. I don't really want to risk hurting feelings

So im not having a maid of honor but my matron of honor will have the same color dress as all of the bridesmaids but all of them will have diferent style dresses.

I have all of the girls wearing floor length chiffon dresses in two shades of purple. My maid of honor's dress has lace details on the skirt while the other girls all have plain skirts. So she kinda stands out, but it's subtle.

My bridesmaids will be in plumb colored high-low dresses and my MOH will be in a lavender floor length dress.

My maid of honor will be wearing a different color and style than the bridesmaids who will be wearing the same color dresses just different styles.

I only had three and they all wore the same dress. I do really like the look of the same dress in different colors, or the same color and fabric in slightly different styles. You really can't go wrong no matter what you and your girls choose!

Mine will stand out. They'll be in burnt orange and the other girls will be in burgundy
