Different last names invitation

Jordan, on December 14, 2019 at 4:13 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 3
Hey guys, wanna get some advice at this because I'm kinda at a lost at this. My fiance's Aunt got remarried but kept her first husband's last name (eg: Smith). Her kids have their biological father's last name (Smith) but her husband have a different last name (Jones). How do I address the wedding invitation?

I am thinking maybe John Jones and Jane Smith and family?

That's what I would do. Jane Smith, John Jones, and family. If you're using an inner envelope, I would address everyone by name.

Well tradioanlally it's the Jonh Jones house hold regardless of how many last names live in that house (cause he's the man of the house and blah blah blah) you are supposed to address the house hold. So it should be Mr. and Mrs John Jones and family or The Jones family. But its 2019 you address them however you like. You can even do Jones and Smith family. What you have looks great to me.
