Different Colour Wedding Gown?

My floral gown was found at a little store in Virginia Beach called "Milk and Honey". Two of my favorite things about this gown (besides the glow and flowers!) is that the back will be corseted (my requested alteration), and once the wedding day is over, I'm having the hem cut to tea-length so I can wear it again on special occasions! Is anyone else out there going to wear their dress again?

I’m going to be wearing a white wedding dress. The dress I tried on at the story was ivory but I ended up wanting the white. I will say that the ivory looked better on me for some reason but I’ll make the white rock. I’ve seen other girls do off white or other colors. I personally think of an angel wearing white like a bride but it really doesn’t matter what I think. Get whatever you love and are happiest because that is what you will glow in ❤️

I originally wanted to go with a colored dress because there are so many gorgeous ones out there and it’s so unique. But the dress I fell in love with was stark white, lol. Go figure 😂🤣

I say wear whatever makes you feel the prettiest and most special. I never understood that "moment" until I tried the first style I loved on and the tears came haha. It is your day, wear what makes you feel like an empowered princess walking down to your forever.

My designer was ieie bridal from New Jersy they also have a store on etsy . The dress was ordered online but entirely custom made. It fit me perfectly with no alterations necessary. Cost around $375-450.

Mine is champagne, stone (like a slightly deeper champagne), with ivory details! It helps to keep my skin tone from looking washed out, but it close enough to just ivory from a distance that it isn't anything too different. I definitely recommend champagne as a gown color!

My dress is white but I also think going non-traditional is fun and people will remember it!

I'm having my gown made in a pearly silver gray. I adore the color. TBH, I was married before, 25 years ago, and I didn't wear white then either, my gown was pink.

Yes! I'm looking for a light grey or silver dress to wear on the big day. Haven't found it yet, but fingers-crossed it will happen!

I have been seeking stores that sell colored dresses. I want black or dark green. Light colors look awful on me. If any of you have suggests, I am all ears!

Yes mine is colored. There are many colored options these days.

I'm having a difficult time finding a black dress. I found a beautiful one on Ali express, but... it's Ali express... And not available any more at this point. The fabric quality wasn't good, but it was my dream dress! Sleeveless, corseted top and a ball gown tiered bottom. Lots of lace. It was my gothic Cinderella dress! I have pictures at least so maybe I can have someone make it. We're getting married Halloween 2020, a nice, classy gothic Victorian theme. I can't wait!

I felt "off" in white, but perfect in a white prom dress covered in bright red, orange, and pink roses. Its the most me dress, and its untraditional, yes, but still beautiful. You do you.
