So I didnt add a bustle to my dress when I had it altered. I had intentions of changing dresses for the reception but after reading posts on here Im not so sure. Not really sure how Id deal with my dress if I kept it on.

With that train, I would definitely get a bustle added. Maybe you'll decide you don't need to use it. They aren't very expensive, and if you do decide you'd rather put it up, you'll be really glad you have the option.

Yes, I am having one put in. I was stepping on it myself just walking in it. Your dress is gorgeous. Plus it will keep it from getting dirty.

I really didn't want to do a bustle, because only half of them turn out as nice as when the alterations person bustles it IMO. But I broke down and added a one point bustle to 2 layers of my dress. So, I only have to bustle up the liner and train to one button. French bustle didn't work with my dress - just didn't look right. But I have seen that be pretty on other dresses. I definitely wouldn't want to drag it around while I'm dancing anyway.
