Did you meet your fh online?

My FH and I met on Myspace! We went to the same school, but never ran into each other because I was a grade ahead of him. I guess he would see me around at school and got up the nerve to message me. We started out as just friends do to me having a bf, He never gave up, We are friends for a whole year before we started dating, that was 8 years ago. I think god everyday that he messaged me that day!

So awesome to read so many stories of people who met online!
My FH and I met on a truck enthusiast website (tacomaworld.com). We just chatted casually until I met him at a meet in Vegas for the off-road races where we really hit it off. I lived in VA at the time and he lived in CA. We did long distance for 5 months before I moved across country to be with him. We were 22 then, now we’re 31. He loves to make silly Vegas jokes... “what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas!”

I met my FH on FACEBOOK (FB)!!! I got back on FB after being off for years and I popped up as a suggested friend for him. He added me. We found that we had a lot of mutual friends from church and he knew my sister. I realized I had seen him performing spoken word at a church event before we met on FB. We started messaging each other and our relationship blossomed from there. So, timeline: we met on FB Mar 2018, met face-to-face May 2018, went to Spain together Aug -Sept 2018, he asked my dad for my hand in marriage when we got back from the trip, he proposed on Thanksgiving, and our wedding is in 34 days (April 27, 2019)!!! 🙌🏾

Date twins! So happy you found your love!

I met my FH on Bumble! Just like you, we talked for a week before going on our first date! He had asked for my number the second day of talking and we texted A LOT. I'm talking paragraphs - every time we both got a new message, it was something fun to read! The night before our first date we FaceTimed! (I had asked him because I wanted to have a conversation over the phone or FaceTime to see if we got some connection there!) also because we lived an hour and a half away and would be meeting halfway for our first date. Got engaged 3 months after our first anniversary together and will be getting married on September 26, 2020!

First date September 15, 2017 - first moved in together May 2018 - got our first fur baby June 1, 2018 - engaged! December 31, 2018 - wedding date September 26, 2020 (just after our 3rd year anniversary!) I'm super excited I found the man of my dreams! And I'm so glad all of you found the one!

I met my other half on POF October 2015. We talked for a few weeks on there then exchanged numbers. He proposed about 2.5 years later and we get married February 2020.

We did! It’s gonna be three years on July 2. We met three weeks later. And thought it was gonna be difficult to see each other very often but we made it work every 2-3 weeks we meet up for dates and our families just don’t know how we could manage a relationship like that. It’s been long distance this whole time hopefully this summer or fall he can finally move over to my side of town right before or right after the wedding. Still trying to figure that one out cuz of his work and school.
