It can be really hard to meet someone organically if you work full time or just don’t have time to go out much or are just around the same circle of friends. All that matters is that you both love each other and want to start a beautiful life together congrats!

View Quoted Comment So true! At the time that we met I was working full time and going to graduate school. It really worked out for me to do the online thing as it gave me a sense of more control over who I gave my time to which was huge since I had so little apare time between work and school.

We met on eharmony and didn’t date bc I had started dating someone else in real life, but after we broke up I recognized him on match and we started it up!

Bumble couple here too ❤️ Online dating is pretty much the norm here in NYC. We had really funny & intense/deep conversations online before we met in person & then on our first date we spent 4.5 hours, just talking! We literally closed the cafe we were in, on a week night haha. Then he decided to walk me all the way home in freezing weather, it was super romantic. When we closed our Bumble accounts, he saved all our chats because he says he knew from them that I was special. He proposed 1.5 years later 😍
I always think how even though we live in the same city, we would have probably never met if it wasn’t for online dating & how sad that would be.

By the way I love your joke about the first move 😄 (that’s one of the main reasons I used Bumble). FH always jokes that for him it was love at first swipe lol

Hahaha I love it!! So happy to have met another Bumble couple! I am actually kicking myself for not saving our Bumble chats! But I still remember what I was doing and what we chatted about in our first messages to each other Gosh feels like forever ago!

We met via Match.com. I messaged him first. To tell you the truth I don't know how long we messaged before our first date, gosh I'm horrible. I think it was a couple weeks? but no longer than a month.

2 years in, we moved in with each other.

5 years in on the exact date, we got engaged.

Now we are 23 days from becoming Mr. and Mrs.

Gotta say I got lucky. My brother always told me I was too picky with me, ha! But I drew this one in and he's stayed with me, and I with him, so I must not have been as picky as he thought, I just hadn't found the right guy until I my FH

Not exactly, but the internet has a hand in us being together! We dated originally back in 1985, but broke up because of my being only 15 and him leaving for the Navy. Broke up on great terms though..we found each other many years later on Facebook (2014) were friends again until 2017 when he asked me to dinner and we've been together since! He proposed 7 months later and here we are planning a wedding
