LOL--except for my photographer, all of my "vendors" are already guests. Good pals with lots of talent--hair, cake, flowers, dj, DOC. All friends.

Our DJ we are feeding/hydrating and the photographer is my friend/guest at the wedding anyway. The officiant said not to include them. Really you should just ask them if they will be eating to be sure. Im not sending invitations though... they have contracts to show up...

I think all vendors that will be with you more than 5 hours should be fed. I know how I would feel if I was working all day on an empty stomach. I also think they should eat first when the B&G eat, so they can be up and running when the toast start and etc.

The only vendors we didn't feed were the ones who were only there for the ceremony, not the reception--our Massachusetts florist, hair and make-up person, photographer, and officiant--and the staff at the restaurant at which we had our post-ceremony luncheon. (We kind of assumed that restaurant staff already had provision for meals.) We did invite the officiant to the reception, but he declined. At our at-home reception, we provided not only food but drink to anyone in the vicinity, even the hair and make-up person who left at the beginning of the reception. However, all the vendors except the hair and make-up person were also friends, and we had confidence they weren't going to drink so much as to fall down on the job.
