My BF would have 100% backed out if I had asked her to be in the bridal party or be a MOH. I instead just told her I would love it if she could come, wear whatever she wanted, and I would be honored if she stood with me. I really do not think she will come due to the expense of travel. FH on the other hand I think will be disappointed because I really doubt two of the guys he wants to stand with him will be able to do it. They are the kind who will say yes but back out at the last minute.
