Did you create a wedding board on pinterest before getting engaged?

Absolutely but it was just ideas and not a real complete wedding, more so random pins of things I liked. Right before we got engaged I started pinning things I loved and wanted to be a reality, once we got engaged I deleted the whole board and started from scratch with ideas that could be a reality for our wedding!

No. I don't have Pinterest. Plus I didnt start any wedding looking until I got in engage. I didn't think I could ever afford one or found that right person. I'm glad to say I found him.

I didn't want to jinx it so I would screenshot my wedding ideas and when I got engaged I made the board and added all my previous screenshots to it. Fh and I both created a board and when he seen mine filled with stuff after just a day he said "what, have you been pinning all day long" I said try all year long.

Same! It was mostly stuff I thought "might be cool for my wedding someday" but when it came time to actually plan....it all went out the window.

I definitely did, FH and I talked about getting engaged for a while, so I started mentally preparing - We knew we were getting engaged about a year before, so I feel like I've been planning for almost three years instead of the official two we've been engaged.

My FH jokingly asked me to marry him awhile back. I asked him if he was serious and he said "Someday, yes." I started my board shortly after.

Now that we are actually planning everything, I'm glad I did. It gave me some great ideas and something to show our planner when we meet with them.

Everyones different... what's weird and totally creepy to one person (like having a rough idea on what you like and don't like on a pin board, a scrapbook or binder full of cutouts) is just a girl planning out something she's looked forward to for awhile. We all have our own pace and timing for everything. Just do you.

Nope. Even having lived 51 years, I'd never even given wedding ideas a single thought. But holy cow, is it a Godsend now that I am planning a wedding! How did people ever do without it? I pin, I stew, I edit....rinse and repeat. LOL

Yes, over the years I would add to the “some day my price will come” board, almost jokingly. Turns out I saved some really great ideas and will be using them in the wedding 😂

Noooope!! I never even planned to marry anyone before I died, and it always came across as kinda weird when other women my age (well-past middle and high school) were planning for weddings on Pinterest when they weren't marrying anyone. I dunno, just seemed kinda like Dr. Elliot Reed from Scrubs. I actually never had a Pinterest prior to engagement, and only got one so my MoH could show me all her rad ideas that she tosses at me. She had a secret wedding board the day I told her (and also swore her to secrecy for a few months), because she's awesome like that LOL

Yes, it's title has now changed from "Maybe Someday" to "Future Mrs. Rojas"

This. Pinterest is the cause of so many high expectations in terms of wedding planning. I use it for teaching ideas and organization but no wedding stuff. We are both pretty chill in what we want.

Edited to add - I misread the question! Before I was engaged? Never. But I do think it is kinda sweet when women do such a thing.
