Did you ask all your bridesmaids to be in your party on the same day?

How did everyone ask their bridesmaids to be in their party? (Setting). Were you able to make it to each of them in the same day?

I asked my sister to (officially) be my MOH the day I got engaged (I was her MOH in July 2018 and we'd always planned on reciprocating), and asked my best friend from college to be a bridesmaid that day too. I asked one of my FSILs in person (she was in our city for work a week after the engagement), and called my other FSIL on the phone that week. None of them are local (they're all 4-7 hours away), so I did 3 of the 4 over the phone.

I mailed everyone their bridesmaid proposal gifts so everyone didn't get them the same day. I just asked the ones that received them not to post anything about it until everyone had gotten theirs!

I haven't yet but I only need them to show up so I think it will be ok. lol I don't want any parties or stuff beyond just standing up there and they know me enough to know that.

No I didn't. I went to each of them separately. I wouldn't have been able to do it all in 1 day.

I only asked two of my five at the same time, since that was the only time I could sort of surprise them! They knew what I was up to, so I felt confident that neither would feel on the spot about it. For the rest, I asked individually!

My best friend and I made the promise to be each other's moh, so the want much asking on the end. But I asked my bridesmaids the same day, 2 of them are my sisters and the third is my sister in law. It was Chistmas eve.

I texted them individually about it to see if they could afford it & had the time. Then when they said yes, I sent them boxes in the mail all on the same day but they were in 5 states so it took awhile.

No mine spanned over a couple months whenever I could meet up with them. I think the first was last october and the rest was like december last year. It's more personal to do it individually.

I did my bridesmaids proposal over dinner, I had to do a few of them separately because they were not able to attend. However seeing their reactions were priceless. :-)

Are you planning to ask in person ? Some people mail cards or have something delivered. I had a small group but had cookies delivered “it would be sweet to have you stand with us” or something like that

I asked all of them separately on different days! I didn't want to put pressure on them in a group setting and all of them live far enough apart where I just asked them when I saw them next! I think in the end it took about a month for me to ask all my girls Smiley smile

No. I asked my sisters first. (lol I actually TOLD them.) Then I asked one friend. That left me room if she had said no to ask another friend.

I did it one by one, I thought it was more personal and just asked them not to post until everyone was asked.

I had “pre-asked” most of them if they would be interested in standing up in my wedding just to get affirmative yeses before I started buying little asking gifts and putting together proposal boxes. I would never want to pressure someone or assume they would say yes because I have said no when asked before and there was something already customized in my name so that bride wasn’t very smart. But anyway, I ended up inviting all of them out for brunch and to my surprise everyone was able to make it kind of on short notice. I was so happy because I didn’t think getting them all together at once would be possible. My girls came thru!
