My date is 3/29...I am crushed because I now have to cut those who are local and still planned on coming. We are doing a small wedding anyways, but it was for 17.

We also need to find out if the gathering of 10 includes the photographer and officiant...because that makes a difference as well.....

You should wait until guidance effects your date directly or if your guest count drops to a level that either vendors won't support or if you feel certain guests who need to be there can't make it. The last thing you would want to do is go through the struggle of rescheduling (it's been an entire day process for me) to find out it would've been fine to have kept your original date. Because if you didn't already have wedding insurance, depending on the provider, you're not likely to be able to obtain it now for any upcoming nuptials.

The guidelines and restrictions are changing every day, but technically the 10 person limit is only a *recommendation*, so as long as everyone involved is comfortable with the situation and there aren't stricter bans in your city/state, it's probably fine for your wedding to have 10 people plus the photographer and officiant.

Please look at Scientific websites CDC, WHO, NIH, Johns Hopkins for your news. The media is doing a poor job of both explaining the virus and reassuring the public of what is happening and how to be prepared (and not doomsday prep). As you know a lot has changed in the last week and I am very sure that a lot will change in the coming weeks. Remember the news is looking for a story. Unless it is backed up by data then it's simply a guess. We are two weeks behind Italy which is peaking. That means in 2-3 weeks will will know a lot more about the virus and containment.

I am by no means telling you you shouldn't feel nervous. Because your feeling are exactly that, but it is something to worry about closer to you day or for those in the decision stage right now.

I'm also in July and I am concerned but trying to stay calm and wait for more information. Of course you can preemptively postpone if that makes you feel better, but it might be best to see what happens in the next few weeks with the increased restrictions.
