Did any of you regret doing a first look or not doing one?

We did not do one simply because of logistics. There was no place, other than a bedroom, for us to do one without it being seen by our guests. That really wouldn't have made for the best pictures. so we skipped it.

I haven’t seen the pictures from our first look yet, so I can’t comment on how they turned out. But what I can say is that I am so happy we did it. I loved seeing his reaction and loved that I could reach out to him for a hug and a kiss, and have a few quiet moments together. Throughout planning, and even the morning of, I was the calmest bride. (Too chill, according to some of my BMs!) But in the two hours or so before the ceremony, I started getting jittery. It was so nice that we had done the first look, so that we could be together and he could help calm my nerves.

We recently went to a wedding for a close friend who chose NOT to do a first look. Whelp, he balled his eyes out through the majority of the ceremony. It was adorably awkward and sweet. My fiance now demands a first look so he doesn't blubber through it as well. hahaha #teamfirstlook

I don’t think anyone will regret their first look, but my fiancé feels strongly about not doing it and I know I’d regret pushing him into something he doesn’t want to do. He really wants that moment seeing me walking down the aisle.
