Quick advice:
Everyone says it, but you won’t believe it until the day arrive, but it really does pass by so quickly. Take a moment, take a breath, take a small moment with your husband to take in the venue, the people and everything you have worked months preparing for. Relax and enjoy every part that goes right equally with anything that might go wrong on the day, what will be will be.
So let's start with the day of rehearsal:
Thursday July 25 10am
So my cousin, my sister and I have an appointment to get our nails done at 10:00. My cousin who offered to drive was running late. My sister called the salon to let them know but they weren't too happy about it.
2pm
I called my fiance to let him know I'm on my way and if he got his haircut already ( I been telling him to get it for days). He said no that he was waiting for me to get home. I was irritated cause our rehearsal was at 5pm.
4pm
Finally left the house but there was traffic everywhere!
4:45 pm
Finally got to the hotel! Our bridal party and my mom started arriving. Then we found out that husband's brother won't be able to make it.
4:50 pm
Checking in! The hotel staff was so sweet they upgrade our studio suite to junior suite!
4:55 pm
Met up with the hotel wedding specialist. Brittany was very professional and helpful.
5:15
Officiant was running late but no worries cause we had the ballroom till 7pm.
8pm
Took us an hour to finally eat cause everyone was indecisive lol. We end up getting tacos!
Midnight
My aunt called me to say she was going to our room cause she wanted to have ' the talk' with hubby and I before the big day. Let's just say it was very emotional and wanted to contribute to the wedding.
3am
Hubby and I couldn't sleep so we decided to practice our 1st dance in our room lol
7am
Sister called me saying, " Happy wedding day!"
8am
Bought breakfast from dunkin donuts and McDonald for our bridal party and relatives.
9:30am
Hmua finally showed up, suppose to be here at 9am.
10:30am
My uncle started taking pics of me getting ready.
11:00am
All my bridesmaids were getting ready except my cousin. She said her hmua won't be able to make it. I didn't say anything but my sister talk for me. My sister told my cousin to not bother me ( my sister is the best, that's why she's my moh).
12:00 pm
Florist drop off the flowers and started setting up the arch.
1:00 pm
Photographer and the violinist arrive. Everyone said the violinst is really good.

Mimosa with the bridesmaids! We actually drank on the way down to the ballroom.
2:00 pm
Found out my reader ( cousin) is running late and that hubby's parents aren't going to make it that they'll be at the reception.

Photos!
So I told my uncle let the photographer take his photos and he can do his afterwards. The whole time my uncle was in his way that it made the photographer irritated. I was apologizing but the photographer told me to not worry about him, to enjoy my day.
5:00 pm
Went to another location to take photos. Hubby's groomsmen were there except my bridesmaids. They said they'll be at the reception. Tbh, I wish they were there so I didn't say anything.

Got to the banquet! Everything looks beautiful! Charlene and her team did an amazing job on the great Gatsby theme.
6:00pm - 6:30 pm
Guests arriving, cocktail hour starts.
6:40 pm
Decided last minute to cancel the entrance dance so we did our 1st dance.
6:45pm
My bridesmaid did a prayer before dinner
7pm- 9pm
Buffet is now open
Open bar close during dinner
8pm
Photobooth opens!
8:30 pm
Cake cutting!
9pm
Dance floor is open, table rounds, and taking pics with the guests.
11pm
Last call!
Midnight
Group photo with all the guests that stayed till the end. I was really drunk at the end cause my coworkers were making me take more shots.
Then when we finally got back to the hotel, brittany send us amenity. So nice of her.
