What are you guys doing for a card box? I was thinking about maybe just doing a small sign?

I got a small box at Michaels that was sea related on the outside and then had a larger seashell lying around and hot glued it and wrote cards on it

I'm making mine! I got this beautiful bird cage for $2! So I'm spray painting it and adding flowers and a sign!

I got a pretty white box from Michael's and put a sign on the inside of the box with a small bouquet off to the side where it left room from the cards.

Does anyone question having a card box at their DW? I feel a bit concerned about having one. I know some guests will definitely not give a gift because they're traveling to the wedding but I also know that regardless some people will still bring a gift or a congrats card. I just don't want to come off as inappropriate for having one?

I am definitely not comfortable having a card box at my DW. However, I assume the majority of people will bring a card just to say congrats at least.

I don't want to carry cards arounds with me so I plan to get some type of card box to hold them. Just haven't done it yet.

We had a dw. We did not have a card box or anything. We told everyone their gift was coming since people were flying or driving from a long distance. We also told them if they wanted to to just give a card. We only had one person do that. I don't think a card box is necessary.

Yeah, I wouldn't have a card box at a DW.

I'm sure some people will still gift you, I'd keep a box /gift bag under your table/ out of sight to stash any cards you may receive.

I think it's a know your crowd thing. I can safely say everyone I know will come with a card. They will not come empty handed.

A card with a congratulatory note at the very least.

I will have an understated card box. I don't want to appear unprepared either.

ETA: I like powers2 idea. Have the box and put it in a spot that's out of sight.
