Dessert Bar at Reception

We did a candy bar and cake, but a dessert bar sounds amazing! My brother and his wife had a small cake they cut into but they served two different flavors of ice cream cake. My brother-in-law and his wife served all different flavors of donuts and they had a large glazed donut they cut into. The beauty of it being your wedding is that you can do whatever you want and make it personal to you.

We had donuts and (two bite) pies in assorted flavors. They were a big hit. Don't worry about what's popular, just what you like.

We did a dessert bar and it was the most popular part of the meal. There were warm cookies and pretzels, plus waiters passing around more things like macarons and mini popsicles. I wish I could have tried everything. Our guests were totally raving about it.

We're doing a combo dessert bar/ late night snack so guests will have a choice of a sweet or savory (or both) snack to end the night with, and I'm SUPER excited about it! We're doing mini crème brulees, lemon merengue tarts, and truffle pops I fully expect those to go over better than cake, but cake was included in the price for our venue, so I figured why not.

We’re doing up chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, 4 different kinds of donuts and some cookies! Then we’re doing a small two tiered cake we’re going to cut into the two of us and then take the rest home

We are doing a simple one layer cake, and providing a dessert table. We meet with our cake people in 2 weeks, but I want Italian cookies, mini cannolis, mini eclairs, mini tiramisu and then whatever else they may suggest.
