Dessert Bar at reception

This comes purely from our restaurant/caterer, but she proposed 2/3s the amount of desserts for total of people. We have three kinds of bite size desserts, so she ordered 67 of each type for 100 guests.

One per guest would be 15 dozen. It sounds like you are having different flavors, so I would get more than one per person. I would probably get 22 dozen (about 1.5 per person) knowing that if they run out, there are many other dessert choices for the guests to enjoy.

Guess it depends on how much of the other desserts you have. When I was looking at dessert bars the two Baker's I went to told me that most guests will eat three to four items since they're smaller portion. How many flavors of donut holes are you getting? If you're getting three different flavors I would suggest getting two dozen of each and then you can have leftovers for the following morning.

I would suggest two per person, but since you are having so many other options total I would do about 140 maybe less.

you wouldn’t have to get one for everyone. Not everyone will have dessert and not everyone that is having dessert is going for that.

I wouldn't do more then 10 dozen. It sounds like you have plenty of other options and you don't want to be stuck with a ton of donut holes after.
