Denver Brides: Engagement photo locations?

Morgan, on August 9, 2013 at 9:27 PM Posted in Planning 0 6

I have my engagement photoshoot schedule for the first weekend in Oct. We are looking for suggestions of locations in and around Denver. We DO NOT want to do them Red Rocks, since our wedding is near there and all of our wedding pictures will be from there. We are open to outside of the box ideas.

I'm not in Denver, but there is a great website where you can search for good picture spots by location and type.

City Park - either behind the museum or on the backside of the pavilion, Wash Park boat house, Roxborough state park, Chataqua in Boulder, Dushanbe Tea House in Boulder, by the end of the month the trees will turn up in Vail and other mountain towns. I'll try to think of more. If you're new to the Denver area let me know, I can give you directions to all of these places :-)

We went downtown around Coors Field and Union Station. They turned out awesome! We are big baseball fans so it only made sense to incorporate Coors Field. We also went to Cheesman Park and those turned out nice too. I love all the big trees and overall feel of the area.

I always wanted to do them in Union Station but since it is under construction until who knows when. There are so many awesome places is the problem!

Museum of Natural Science - the west side of the museum has an awesome view of City Park with a lake and fountain, then the city scape, then the mountains. It couldn't be more Denver than that. We had our engagement photos done all around city park, but the best were to the west of the museum.
