I did try on one before this dress and it was the dress to beat. I will try on some more fitted as if the price is cheaper then maybe I will splurge on the alterations. Is it a lot to get it fitted? I am bigger on the bottom than the top.

Unfortunately I don't have much insight on alterations cost right now; my first fitting is scheduled for May. Maybe some of the other brides can chime in? I would assume they would order it in the size that fits your largest part and then you'd need to tailor it to the smaller part. Depending on how much detailing there is in the top part, it could be less or more. Maybe they could give a ballpark estimate when you go in?

Thank you Nicole, I get SO excited every time I try it on, I'm worried though because I have less than B cup boobs, and need to have sewn in padded cups, I'm afraid i'm going to look flat 😤 pray for me!!

Feeling a bit sad I gave away my Mermaid gown but with my massive weight change I had no choice. Looking for a lace aline now. The picture was at the beginning of my weight loss, final low was 86 lbs. and dr said Id never regain it. I am 10 lbs heavier than the day I tried this on the first time.

I'm gonna make the most of the opportunity, as I have no one to share this stuff with. FH wants it to remain a mystery until the day.

Weight for women is so difficult because we are meant to carry more fat on is (since we’re animals designed to carry babies) and have so many hormones doing 1000 different things. Just remember that your FS loves you no matter your weight (coming from someone who lost 46 pounds and has put about 20 of it back on). You’re going to be gorgeous no matter what dress you’re wearing!

GIRL! me too. if you have a target near you i urge you to go there. i didn't get the cups sewn in to my dress but i wore a backless strapless u - plunge bra. with sticky silicone cups inside that! i spent like $25

My dress is a Badgley Mischka gown from the 2019 collection. It has plenty of sparkle and glam. I really love it and can’t believe how easy it is to move around in it.
