We’re going to New Orleans a month and a half after our wedding! Our reasoning was a combination of finances and timing - we could use a break financially for a few weeks, and thought New Orleans would be really cool during Halloween time (and my birthday!) neither of us have ever been but my FH has ALWAYS talked about going.

Hi there! We are delaying our St. Lucia all inclusive honeymoon to our first anniversary! We decided to plan our dream destination wedding on the easy coast so we will have a little mini moon for a couple days after the wedding. This way we will have a whole year to kind of ease the financial burden haha ...

We get married in October and we wont be having a honeymoon until June/July of next year for 2 reasons. 1. We want to go to Niagara Falls and they have a zipline we really want to try but want nice weather. 2. We have never left our son (1 year old) before, so we are going to have him start spending the night at Grandma and Grandpas so he can go to the family cabin with them while we go to Niagara Falls and not be a nervous wreck on my honeymoon.

I like NOLA. In college a group of us would fly there every year (from Cali) for an annual bowl game. Fun times!

We’re getting married in October and will take our honeymoon in February. It felt too rushed to plan one right afterwards plus the holidays are so soon after. I am taking the week before and the week after off, since I want to relax afterwards with my new hubby

We’re getting married at the end of November, so we’re doing a mini moon at the end, for finances (and somewhere warm!). Then once summer rolls around we’ll do our real honeymoon. We will be backpacking out west and I don’t want to do that in December! Haha

We are heading to Cancun but not until February 2020. We get married September 21. Apparently when we wanted to go (November) is prime Hurricane season so our travel agent advised against us going then & my FH will get more vacation time in February.

We got married a few weeks ago and did a short 2 day trip to the Finger Lakes since I had to be back at work (teacher). We are going to plan something for June, right after school let's out. May do Disney/Universal, or take a cruise.

I’ve heard some great things about New Orleans! I’ve never been, but my parents have and they rave about the food! Hope you all have a great time down there!
We are delaying our honeymoon, but we haven’t decided yet on when or where—we’ll definitely be going before springtime of next year as he will be deploying on a mission and we want to do something nice before he leaves. We’ll likely do a cruise. I’d like the Caribbean and I’m sure he’d like Alaska!😂

We’re traveling out west to go backpacking, which is something we want to do in the summer. We’re getting married in November. Lol. Soooo we’re delaying our honeymoon. But we’ll do a mini trip somewhere warm the week after, maybe to a National park in SoCal.

We got married last Saturday, and we're doing our honeymoon in January.

    1. We want to go to Disney World/Universal, and, well *gestures vaguely at Cat 4 hurricane aiming at Florida*.

    2. We're service workers/actors and need to save up time off/money to take time off.

    3. ...Who goes to Florida in AUGUST, even if you like heat??

    4. It'll be nose-freezing cold in the NY/NJ in January, so going someplace warm will be super nice.

    5. Disney is usually super busy this time of year, so we want to go when it's a lot more chill.

We’re having a delayed honeymoon and renting out a cabin awhile after we’re married. Finances and timing were one thing but we also live together already and just have responsibilities but are already taking time off for the wedding since most of our guests/ family is from out of town!

Yes we have to delay quite a lot! We are getting married in June 2020 and going for our honeymoon in November 2020. We are both going to be heavily involved in the presidential election in 2020 so we are not able to travel July - November that year!

You will love New Orleans! I went for a friends bachelorette so i was only there for about 48 hours but I cant wait to go back!

We are delaying our honeymoon. We are getting married in September 2020 but will likely take our honeymoon at the end of the year. We want to take 2+ weeks so we figured if we do that last week of December and first week of January we could use vacation from 2 different years for our jobs and also use a holiday or 2 (christmas/new years day). This way we don't burn all our vacation days for one year!
