Decorator

Is it rude if I don’t go to the venue with my decorator so they can take measurements?
I had already measured everything and let them have that but they want to go and see for themselves. I’m busy the days they are available.

Personally, I would make the time to go with your decorator so that they know what they are decorating and to make sure they know exactly what you want. They might see the space and have questions.

I would personally make time to go with your decorator to avoid miscommunications about decor.

I agree with PPs, I would go if at all possible. You have 4 months until your wedding, so I'm sure you can find one hour where you're both available.

Thank you! I measured everything when I went because they asked for it, and we both definitely didn’t want to make the long drive again. But you’re all right I definitely need to go!

I agree you shouldn't miss the opportunity to be at the venue with your decorator in case there are questions and/or they have suggestions/changes you haven't yet considered. We'd visited daughter's venues many times, but when we went for the menu tasting/selection, about four months out, things came up with the venue event coordinator that led to daughter changing the timeline and making some changes to the plans for decor, etc. All changes were very much for the better! I wouldn't miss a chance to be involved in confirming the final details at this point.
