So this is the church that I'm getting married in, its unique and I love the windows but I feel as though it's kinda cold and bleak inside. Any suggestions to warm it up and make it feel cozy and intimate?Decor suggestions 4

What about stuff like this? It would add more to the look. Candles would add extra lighting. White drapes would also give it a lighter feel.

I love the idea of drapes but I have 0 idea how much fabric I need. I have the capability to diy it, it's just a matter of calculating the yardage. At 16 feet I don't think I need much but the added draping yards is what's got me caught up. I hadnt thought about the candles though. Its prefect!

Glad to be of help! My venue came with drapes so I'm not sure how much drapery you would need.

An idea would be to get a price quote from a decorator in your area. They can measure and tell you how much fabric and based on how expensive it is then you can with either their price or diy

Hey Aimee! I tried doing that initially and was blown off both times, I'm assuming because of the location that it's in ( about 45 minutes from the closest town.) I pretty much gave up on the idea and decided it would save me some pennies just doing it myself....now instead of saving me money its costing me frustration. 😅
