Declined on STD...Send Invitation?

If someone lets you know based on the STD that they can't attend, do you still have to send a formal invite? Thoughts?

    Definitely send them an invitation. To open that invite does really mean something to folks. I don't know anyone who doesn't love a beautiful invitation! Besides you never know when plans change - so what was a no could turn back to a yes!

    So far I have one that told me he cannot come but I am sending the invite anyway--you never know!! Besides, maybe they will send a gift! Smiley winking

    I would say no... I think they are trying to help you save the stamp and invite. Think of it this way, Now you can invite someone else :]
