Deck/beach ceremony and eco-friendly ceremony/tradition options

N, on January 23, 2020 at 11:36 AM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 4

All my beach brides- what did you gave your flower girls do? Did you skip the whole rose petals thing? What about after the ceremony or during your group pictures? I know people throw like rice (yes, cliche) or do bubbles but rice or throwing anything will probably be out of the question. But just not sure what is eco-friendly here or what we can do instead.

My ceremony will be in a deck overlooking the beach so I can probably do some traditional things like have the rose petals for my aisle but do want to be considerate of nature here and clean up might be hard with the wind.

We’re getting married in a National Park and they don’t allow flowers or anything brought in of any kind. We’re thinking about picks leaves and twigs and stuff off of the ground there and having our daughter throw those instead.

Maybe you could have your flower girl throw sand instead of flowers?

If you don't want anything thrown, having your flower girl carrying something such as a little bouquet of flowers, or a single flower is a great idea. Would you consider this?
