Help me decide what color table cloths I should get...

I'm expecting around 300 people, so around 38 round tables. I'll probably get chair covers also, so I need to decide what color for those too.

My colors are plum, silver, and white with accents of light purple. I also put up a picture of my flower ideas (my bouquet being all purple and the BM being dark and light purple).

For the table cloths I'm thinking either silver, white, or purple. And for the chair covers either silver or white with the tie backs, no bows or anything on them- just plain chair covers.

So, If I do purple tablecloths, should I do all white flowers for the centerpieces? Or if I do purple flowers for the centerpieces, do I do white/silver tablecloths (because it'd be too much purple)? LOL. Would purple tablecloths make the venue look a lot smaller?

I'm also considering some purple uplighting...I don't know what to do. HELP

Purple is my favorite color. I would say white table cloths with purple flowers. The reason I would do that color combo is that purple can be a bit difficult to photograph. It can blend in with the background. If you did purple on purple, it may not show up well at all.

Just make sure the centerpieces on the guest tables are not so tall that they block their view of the other guests.

I had white table cloths with purple napkins and my centerpieces were white roses in a vase with a matching purple ribbon on the outside. It is difficult to match purples which is the main reason it was my dominant color. I had shades of purple and then tiny accents of silver and teal. But as long as the purples are close enough, it shouldn't be too bad. I wouldn't layer the purples though.

I recommend white tableclothes with purple centerpieces and purple uplighting. Check us out at http://shoutindj.com/wedding_djs_FGJ3.html and visit our uplighting page
