I am getting married in December! I live in Florida so it could be either 80 degrees or 40 degrees on the day of the wedding and both are "normal" so I was just wondering what some of the other winter brides are planning on doing? My dress is spaghetti strap and my girls are wearing tank strap dresses so all of our arms will be exposed. We have decided that if it's too cold/rainy, we will have the ceremony inside (reception barn). But we would much prefer outside. So if it was a relatively cool day (say 60s) where the guests could stand to sit outside for 30 minutes or so, what would you do/what are you planning to do for you and your girls? Just be cold for a little bit and deal with it? Shaws? Coats? I don't want to cover our dresses and this might just be another stupid thing for me to stress about but I'm trying to come up with a plan. Lol.

Yeah it also snowed a couple years before that. I say snow. It actually ended up being "ice" that stuck. Which makes it dangerous to drive because none of us are used to driving on icy roads. But both of the last few years that it snowed it was in January so hopefully my December wedding will be fine, and hopefully since you're in central Florida it won't affect your wedding at all!

    Hey Hannah,

I also live in Florida and I am scheduled to get married in December as well. My bridesmaids are wearing burgundy dresses, halter and spaghetti straps so I was actually thinking of getting my girls a nice blush shawl (just in case) it is nippy, I would not blame them if they decided to wear it or if they even decided to have someone hold them if they needed it once we reach the alter. We are also getting married near the water and everyone has already told me that no matter what time of year it is, that spot is always windy. Hope this helps.
