I have my first fitting next week and need to find strapless shapewear before then. Luckily my mom is coming up this weekend so we can shop for a dress for her so I'll have an opportunity to look for myself.

My dress has an illusion neckline so I will need something strapless, this TERRIFIES me because I'm a 36 DD and anything strapless is usually a no no. I would like a body suit or at least something that goes down to my hips for added support. Don't think I would like a slip because I don't want the possibility of it riding up. Let me know where you bought your "under the dress goodies".

Thanks ladies!

I am the same size and I bought an amazing strapless shape wear leotard type thing at Kohls! I used a 30% off and it was only around $40. It really sucks in my love handles and belly; I love it!

@michelle I went to kohls today and looked. They didn't have anything in my size but I'm willing to order online. Can you tell me what size and brand/style you bought? Thank you!

Sure. The name is Maidenform Shapewear Easy-Up Strapless Body Briefer 1256 and I got it in a 38DD which is what size all my bras are so it's true to size. I actually got it before I went to a wedding in Vegas earlier this year; they may not be carrying many in their stores any more. I see it on sale on their site! I attached a photo of it too.

My caution against using a whole body briefer like the one above is that it's already going to be a pain in the butt to use the bathroom, more so if you add in something with a gusseted crotch or hooks to redo.

@Bailey- I had the same issue! I normally wear a 36DD as well and I bought a strapless sweetheart neckline dress. Was very scared when it came time to find undergarments but I went and got measured to make sure I was going to be buying the correct size and ended up going down to a 34DDD.

I went shopping at Macys and found a bustier that is honestly the best thing ever! I had it on for my first fitting and it was perfect! I even wore it to my bridal shower since that dress had a back that dipped a little lower. This thing kept my ladies in place, I felt supported ALL day!

Bailey! What did you end up wearing?! I am also a 36 DD and have the same dress! What do you recommend?
