Days off

I’m taking off Wednesday-Friday for our Saturday wedding. Then we’ll be on our mini-moon Sunday-Wednesday and be off Thursday-Sunday for Thanksgiving.

I only took the day before. Some people take more but I didn't want to because I wanted to save my days for honeymoon

Yeah we didn’t want to take a honeymoon right after we were gonna wait til next year we just took a family vacation last week so I’ll save some time right there

My wedding was Friday. I took off Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We were supposed to stay at the lake until Monday for a mini moon. We came home on Sunday but I still had off Monday and Tuesday. I'm glad I took that much time off!

I'm taking the Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday before my Sunday wedding, and then the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday after. Our honeymoon isn't until December. It's a lot of time, but summer is the busiest season at my job so I wanted plenty of time to decompress and shift from work stress mode to wedding mode!

For a Saturday wedding, I am taking off the Thursday and Friday before. I am able to arrive and set up at the venue on Friday afternoon and my venue is 3 hours away so I want to be able to get down there without rushing around and stressing out. I think your plan is a good amount of time to take off.

I'm taking half day Thursday and all of Friday for our Saturday wedding. Thursdays are my department's busy day, so I at least want to be in for a little bit to tie up loose ends. This way my FH and I have plenty of time to get our attire together, pack, and meet up with OOT guests.

I'm definitely taking Friday off, though we don't technically have anywhere to be until after my normal work hours. Thursday and Monday are both up in the air, but I have a feeling I'll try to take them both off to relax a little haha

My FH and I work in yhe school district. Our schools typically get out early to mid May amd our wedding is on Sunday, may 3rd.
So I'm taking the Frida before and maybe the Thursday before off if it seems necessary and then the following Monday off and as school gets out well be going on our minimoon

I’ll be taking off the Friday before my Saturday wedding, but that’s all. We’re taking a week long honeymoon right away, leaving the morning after the ceremony. We’ll get back on Sunday and I’ll go back to work on Monday. It’s not ideal, but I changed jobs in January and new company has a stingy PTO policy when you first start, so that’s probably all the PTO I’ll have.

I just feel like I’ll do much to do since i have literally 7 weeks left

I plan on taking off a week because I am traveling back home and want to be there the weekend before to diffuse any last minute issues

We're getting married on a Saturday. I'm taking Thursday off (and will be off Friday since I don't work on Friday's). Our venue lets us rent the space from Thursday-Saturday so we'll start decorating on Thursday. After the wedding, I'll be off Monday-Monday for our honeymoon.

As of now I'm taking the Friday before our Saturday wedding off. Our rehearsal is that morning. I am also thinking about taking a 1/2 that Thursday too. We'll be gone on our honeymoon the following week, plus the next Monday too. So in total I'll be off 7-7.5 days.

We're getting married (again lol) on Saturday and I don't work on Fridays...........it didn't even occur to me to take Thursday off but now I'm thinking maybe I should. Go get a massage or something lol. This is my second wedding and finding I'm WAY more laid back this time around. Maybe too laid back lol.

We leave for our honeymoon the Monday after our wedding and I'm off for two weeks.

Oh man, guys. I had the weekend for Labor Day weekend wrong!! This whole time, I thought I was getting married on the Saturday of the long weekend.

Oookay, looks like I need to take off an extra day than I thought I did for our mini-moon.

I was just going to do Thursday and Friday for our Saturday wedding, then Tuesday for a nice mini-moon, thinking I already had Monday off.

🤔didn’t even think of taking more than the next day off. I always feel bad taking days off from work and sometimes I think what’s the point someone is still gonna call me with work related questions on my day off😂😂😂. But yeah if I really wanted to do what I felt was right I would take Friday and Saturday off to relax and go get pampered and then Sunday wedding and take off two weeks for honeymoon. But I know me that’s not gonna happen😂. Especially since my boss already made a comment like “maybe you can take the following weekend off for your honeymoon”. are you kidding me😐🤦🏻‍♀️
