Day of Timeline?

Courtney, on March 19, 2020 at 9:15 PM Posted in Planning 0 3

We are wanting to have our wedding ceremony start at 2pm or 3pm but I am unsure what the wedding day timeline should look like.

Our ceremony and reception are at different locations however they are only about 5 minutes apart.

We have our reception venue for 6 hours so we were thinking of having the reception start at 3pm and go to 9pm.

We are having hors d'oeuvres that are scheduled to start at 4pm as of right now and a plated dinner that starts at 5:30pm if the reception was to start at 3pm and go to 9pm. These times are able to be changed.

My hairstylist is also wanting to start at around 7am which I feel is a little early.

I have 3 bridesmaids.

What are everyone's suggestions?

We are expecting it to go pretty quickly, probably around 30 minutes?

We have a guide that could help you, Courtney! 9 Wedding Day Timeline Rules Every Couple Should Follow. Personally I'd have hors d'oeuvres start as soon as the reception begins to make sure no one is hungry, or maybe at 3:30 if you're thinking guests may trickle in
