Day of timeline

My wedding is at 3:30


8:30- bridesmaids and bride arrive to church8:45- makeup and hair begins 12.00 groomsmen arrive1- bride starts getting ready.1:30- bride pictures putting on dress etc1:50- brides pictures with bridesmaids 2:00 brides pictures with parents2:30 grooms pictures with grooms family 2:45 groom with pictures with groomsmen3:00 church doors open for guest to start arrival3:30 ceremony 4:00 ceremony ends- guests go to 6th floor of venue for reception4:00 cocktail hour 5:00 reception begins with bridal party returning from pictures5:15 first dance 5:20 father daughter dance 5;30 dinner Etc

11a brunch

1230p getting ready

145-2p photos start

330p set up ceremony

5p ceremony begins

530p social hour

6p reception start [or reception was SUPPOSED to start but really people were still at the social hour] in my culture we have people attend the reception more than the ceremony.

730p grand entrance [in my culture we do something called welcome photos so we wait 1-2 hours for most to show up and also, no one shows up on time] into first dance

845p speeches and tosses into cake cutting

930p open dance floor

11p exit

This is what we’ve decided on so far but we may change it up give or take Depending on how long everyone’s speech lasts.
5-5:30 ceremony5:30-6:30 cocktails, games and hors d’oeuvres6:30-7:00 formalities: introduction, first dance, speeches 7:00-8:15 dinner8:15-8:45 cake cutting/dessert and parent dances8:45-10:30 Dancing!!!! * Bar will close at 10 o’clock and passed late night snacks will go around at 10*People usually start to head out between 10- 1030Wedding ends at 10:30!

Here is my tentative plan for my day-of timeline:

9am - hair/makeup begins (and breakfast/snacks while getting ready )
12pm - lunch
1pm - getting ready photos
2pm - first look
2:45pm - wedding party photos
4:15pm - ceremony
5pm - cocktail hour
6:30pm - dinner
7:30pm - first dance, cake cutting, etc
8pm - dancing
12am - reception ends
