I saw some on Pinterest. I want to start at 4 but I also want it to be over by 8:30 ish so I'll probably start earlier. 3:15 maybe.

1:30 photographer arrives at girls getting ready location (detail, jewelry, ring, bouquet, and candids are captured

1:30 2nd photographer arrives at guys getting ready location (guys should have pants and shirts on, but nothing else so that photographer can capture you putting on ties, etc)

2:45 bridesmaids and mothers get dressed

    3 bride gets dressed

    3:30 groomsmen formal portraits

4 pm bride travels to ceremony location

4:10 bride hides away, bridal party/ushers assemble for ceremony

    4:30 ceremony start time

5pm ceremony ends (guests go to cocktail hour)

    5pm family portrait start

5:30 wedding party pictures at several spots around resort property (photographers will scout these ahead of time for great light!)

6:20 wedding party arrives at cocktail hour (or reception)

6:30 grand entrance to reception (coordinate this with your dj)

    6:40 toasts

    6:50 salads served

    7 dinner served

    8 cutting cake

    8:15 first dances

    8:30 dancing starts

As I've just discovered, it will depend on whether or not you're doing a first look. Are you?

^^ good question about the first look. That time line looks pretty good but doesn't seem to include a first look..? I suppose if a first look is happening, then push back the original start time a half hour to hour back? Hmm.
