Our DOC is putting ours together. Our photographer and HMUA put together their own timelines as far as their arrivals and what they will be doing. But the coordinator is taking care of the actual wedding timing.

I worked from the end. I knew that I wanted dancing to start around 8 and that I wanted ceremony somewhere in the 2-4 time frame. I decided on 3 oclock ceremony because it worked best. Also make sure you have plenty of buffer time, especially if there is any amount of traveling involved. Get opinions from your catering staff on how long dinner will take, photographer on how long pics take, and hmu time for amount of people.

    Excel. (or Google Sheets)

My FH and I sat down and made one. Timelines for me, him, bridal party, groomsmen, vendors, parents and grandparents and then general guests. (see below)

I'll be making a more detailed one so the bridal party and groomsmen can reference it the day-of.

Right now I spreadsheet with rough details: time, location, those involved, and notes.
