Day of logistics

So we have the venue for both the ceremony and the reception.

We have the ceremony venue from 3-6, and the ceremony is starts at 5pm, we will have pictures before (first look, wedding party, etc)

How do I plan everything we have to do that day?????? (her hair, the girls hair, my hair, everyone else dressing, her getting dressed, and whatever else I am forgetting!)

The timing logistics is the only thing giving me a hard time!

    I have the same set up as you (ceremony and reception in the same place). Luckily, my venue has a fully loaded spa, bridal suite, and luxury cabins, so I'm literally having everyone come to me. The only planning I'm doing is making a list of times everyone is supposed to show up (Hair lady, makeup lady, etc.) My coordinator and photographer will work out the timeline for everything else.

    So my schedule was similar to yours, here is how it went:\

    9am - 2pm - hair and make up starts - I had 12 people get ready with me, 2 make up people and 2 hair people

    2pm - Bridal Party getting ready at the hotel

    3pm - BP shuttle to the venue

    3:20pm - 5:20pm - First Look, couple pictures, BP pictures

    5:30pm - Ceremony starts

    6:00pm - Ceremony over

    Could you talk to your photographer or hair stylist for a time line? They both helped me a lot. I first worked with my photographer then let the hair stylist know what time we started pics and she set her own timeline.

    Okay so this is what we are thinking...am I missing anything??

    We will be getting ready at the reception site as we have it ALL day!

    CEREMONY

    Lunch before going to reception site

    12:00 Bridal party arrives

    12:00 Hair lady arrives to do Bride's hair

    1:00 photographer and assistant should arrive to take pictures

    bridesmaids/groomsman/groom dressing

    bride dressing

    (leave for ceremony site - have it from 3p-6p)

    pictures

    4:30 be inside to rest, cool off, touch up makeup

    4:30 prelude music starts

    5:00 bridal party lines up

    5:10 processional music starts

    BRIDAL MUSIC - She's a butterfly by Martina McBride

    recessional music starts

    Bridal party leaves in reverse order

    music stops

    Officiant announces that everyone goes to reception site

    6:00 Leave Chapel

    6:30 arrive at reception space

    RECEPTION

    4:30 Friend Day of Coordinator and Cake lady should arrive to reception

    5:30 DJ should start setting up (if he needs only 30 min)

    5:30 Food should arrive

    6:00 music should start

    guests arrive 5:45 to 6:30

    6:30 Bridal party - be inside to rest, cool off, touch up makeup

    6:40 grand entrance

    6:45 first dance

    6:50 eating eating eating

    7:10 any speeches???

    7:30 cupcake cutting

    8:00 parent dances

    8:10 open dancing

    8:20-9:00 sucker give away (instead of bouquet/garter toss)

    10:45 last dance

    10:50 tear down and start clean up

    11:00 reception over

    Clean up

    12:00 be gone
