Day of Gift for groom

I was going to do a watch but my husband started a watch subscription just before the wedding. He already picked out the one he was going to wear. It would have also been really expensive and in the last few weeks before the wedding the budget was really tight. Instead I bought a wolf lapel pin from Etsy it was less than $10. I wrote him a letter which the best man gave to him the morning of saying that it was to represent his grandfather who basically raised him but passed away a few years ago. He said it made him cry.

I wrote my husband a sweet letter and had a bowtie made from his mom's wedding dress (she passed 7 weeks ago). I didn't see his reaction but the photographer said she got some good shots. We are also going down to AZ. for Cubs training camp in the spring as a gift to us, from us.

A watch is always a nice gift, especially if you get something engraved to make it personal.

My gift to her was all little things with meaning. I bought a handkerchief with "I Love You 3000" embroidered on it, a rock engraved with a saying about how she is my rock and my person to lean on, a tee with a stick figure woman on one side that says "Your Wife" and a silhouette of Wonder Woman on the other that say "My Wife", and a hammer that I had engraved to say "For the life we will build together. Love, Ivy". She literally cried and I was so happy she liked them all.
