Day of coordination

Paris, on June 25, 2020 at 10:32 PM Posted in Planning 0 14
Wondering the average cost for day of coordination is? What did you all pay if you don’t mind sharing.

I guess I didn’t realize how expensive it was the cheapest I found was $1500. the lady that I like and am considering is $1950. Does that seem to much.

Depends on where you live. But those rates are right on target. Keep in mind that your wedding coordinator is going to make sure that all of your vendors are doing what they are supposed to do, she’s organizing your bridal party, running around, putting out fires, setting up, maintaining the timeline and basically tying all the pieces together for a seamless event. Whereas, each individual vendor only have to worry about themselves, the wedding planner has to worry about ALL of the vendors, all of the details and more. So their services far outweigh their fee.

Cost depends on where you are located. Major cities will be more expensive than very small towns.

It really depends on where you live or where your wedding is if it's out of area/state. When I was planning our CA wedding awhile back (had to cancel), I had found a full blown wedding planner for $1,900, including DOC. I came across him on a site called Thumbtack.

Maybe you can check there, if you haven't already. Check to see if there's anyone on there that you would also like and maybe even at a cheaper price. If not, I don't think that's a bad price. Good luck!

Depends where you are located, but where I am (big city), $1950 is a pretty good deal for a DOC. I paid a few hundred more than that for my DOC and she was worth every penny

Browse the vendor tab at the top of the page under "planners" in your area and see who you click with. They have services and prices listed on their sites.

That seems on point. You could also try to find a venue that offers a wedding planner and day of coordinator included if you haven’t already found your venue yet.

That seems to be about the average going rate. im in maryland in the dc suburbs and my day of coordinator normally charges $1500. but since she's a good friend of my moms and "bored in the house and she's in the house bored" AND we're having a micro wedding, she's doing it for half .

My venue includes it thankfully. I can't imagine having to add that into my budget on top of everything.

I'm spending $800 in Wisconsin. Most of the people I saw were charging 1500+. The person I chose has experience in event planning and is establishing her business, so I think that's why the price was lower.

It varies by location. My DOC is from the Portland, OR area and cost $1800, so you price sounds about right to me.
