Day of Bridal Party Breakfast

Mercedes, on November 5, 2021 at 6:58 PM Posted in Planning 0 17
Hi everyone, I am debating on whether to have coffe, juices, water, pastries, etc in my hotel suite the morning of so my Bridesmaids and Mom can eat while getting ready or have breakfast in the hotel restaurant? I'm thinking that eating on the hotel room will save time.
Also, Im having a hard time coming up with ideas on what to serve. My hotel suite comes with a fill size fridge, microwave and 2 burner stove. Although I dont feel it would be a good idea for anyone to be cooking. Any ideas? What did you do?

We are just gonna have a couple fruit trays, sub trays, chips, waters & maybe some other drinks like coffee & tea. We get our building at 7am so we may order some real food since our wedding don't start until 5.

I'm having a lovely breakfast with tea, mimosas, scones and my favorite egg-white frittata. Then, I'll have a light lunch, maybe cheese and fruit, before I begin getting ready at 2 pm for our 4pm wedding.

I wouldn't have anyone cook. What if the smell of whatever they cooked somehow attached to your clothes? It is possible with some fabrics. You don't want to smell like food on your wedding day. Well, some people might. ha ha

We had bagels, fruit, coffee, and orange juice for getting ready breakfast. It was easy and filling.

The time you have to start getting ready will factor into whether you should eat in the room or at the restaurant. I don't know the hours of the restaurant but with my timeline, we'd have to start getting ready at 7:30 am and so to eat in a restaurant with the amount of people getting ready, we'd have to be at the restaurant by like 6 am and no one would want to do that.

I'm planning on having a fruit tray, some pastries, and a frittata or quiche or something similar and then when we get to the venue for pictures, I'll have sandwiches, salads and a charcuterie board for the wedding party for lunch

We'll also have mimosas the morning of while getting ready

That sounds great. There are 7 women, 8 including me who will be getting ready with me so I think having food and drinks in the hotel suite would probably be best. Although we dont have to be at the venue till 4pm I would like to have time to celebrate my bridesmaids without interuptions.

You need some type of food and beverages while you and attendants are getting ready. Same goes for the men. If you don’t, someone in the group if not all will be hungry, tired, cranky and possibly pass out from low blood sugar. Either have delivery from a local restaurant or get coffee, yogurt, and fruit/pastry platters from Costco the day before. Do not serve alcohol early in the day and especially not on an empty stomach. Offer breakfast and coffee to your hair/makeup/photo team as well.

Great idea. Didnt think hair and make up team. Wow! Awesome advice.
The men will not be with us when we are getting ready though. I can schedule a breakfast delivery so they can eat as well.

The groom and his attendants generally don’t get ready with the bride but they still need and want breakfast/lunch/coffee at that time.

My husband and his men went to a restaurant as they had more time than us. I didn't think about food like I should have and ended up having some McDonalds for my breakfast so it's good you're thinking about me - you don't want to be like me LOL 😆

We had fruit, yogurt, and pastries, plus juice and the coffee that the hotel supplied in the rooms. It worked out fine-no one really wanted to eat anyway! Smiley smile But the kids cleaned it out. haha
