Ok ladies. What are the most important things to pack in your day of bag? I started packing mine, but I want to see what all of you may have!

Needle with ivory thread. Not sure of your dress but mine had buttons on the back and for some reason one button loop was just too small and we couldn’t button it so we decided to quickly sew that area?!

Bring a tide pen too. I randomly saw an orange spot on the bottom side of my dress before the ceremony? I Literally have no idea where it came from. Someone put seltzer water on it to try and clean it.
Extra Hair ties and hobby pins.
    Deodorant.
    Face Oil blotters
    Headache/pain reliever medication.

    Good luck!!!

You absolutely need a sewing kit. Not just for your dress, but for anyone's attire that might get damaged or lose a button. Other things that were helpful at my sister's wedding: gum, blister stick, makeup remover, safety pins, and a phone charger.

All of the things mentioned above. A toothbrush and toothpaste (or mouthwash). Lint roller. Hairspray (we had to use the bobby pins and hairspray because one of the ladies had a piece fall out of the bottom of her hairdo - easy fix - but only if you have the stuff). Chapstick/lipstick for touchups. Bandaids.

At the end of the day, most of your stuff is probably going to stay in the bag - but better safe than sorry.

The buttons seem like too much extra work.

If you wear contacts, pack extras and a small bottle of solution! I can just imagine dropping one of mine down the drain the morning of 😂 I'd also toss in a granola bar or other small snack, a small thing of tissues, and some non-drowsy allergy meds if you/ someone in your bridal party has allergies.

I agree with the above advice about sewing kits, tide pens, gum/ mints, chargers, hair ties/ bobby pins and pain relievers.

We used scissors and were wishing for double sided/boob tape. Not sure what it’s really called.
    We also used the snacks.
I had feminine products, tide pen, oil blotter sheets, thread (I think). Besides personal stuff (chapstick, wallet, phone, keys, etc) I didn’t have much in my day of bag.

I JUST purchased all the stuff for my emergency kit for my wedding next weekend, I have chapstick, an extra tube of the lipstick my makeup artist is using, perfume, hairspray, a sewing kit with scissors, tide to go pens, deodorant wipes, static guard, chafing cream, wrinkle release spray, qtips, bobby pins, safety pins, eye drops, lotion, mouthwash, tissues, a hair brush and comb, boob tape and double side tape, tampons & pads, breath mints and bandaids. I might be forgetting something. I'd rather be over prepared for anything than have too much we don't use.

That all fits in a small travel size kit, which will go inside my larger bag. My larger bag will also have: my day of binder (marriage license, vendor contact info, all the wedding party and parents contact info, all timelines, ballroom and cocktail hour layouts, list of decor, copies of all contracts, day of tips, etc), it will have my toothbrush and toothpaste, my shoes i'm switching to for reception, my deodorant, my perfume, and the details box (this has a copy of all paper products - invite, save the date, program; lace from my dress, a in memory pin for my bouquet, rings, a pin from my flower girl for inside my dress, ring box, etc). I'll also probably have my water bottle, and a couple snacks, BUT our venue is making us lunch and my stepmom is making breakfast for the girls while we get ready

An extra pair of white flats. I am wearing heels for the ceremony and then I am packing a pair of flats and an ADDITIONAL pair of flats just in case for some reason something goes wrong with that pair of flats. Extra tampons, pads, liners, period underwear, wet wipes, clear deodorant, a nail file and a tide pen.

Its so helpful to read everyone's ideas, so far I ve come up with the following list (some of these things will be in a basket in the bathroom for all the guests and others will be in my bag in the bridal suite):

    Sewing kit

    safety pins

    fashion tape

    Stain stick/wipes

    travel size deodorant

    Advil

    Tums

    Pepto

    Allergy meds

    Glasses

    Bandaids/blister pads

    Tampons

    Mints

    Toothbrush and paste

    Snacks

    Allergy Meds

    Eye drops

    Mouthwash

    Floss

    Extra eyelash glue

    blotting papers

    lotion

    Lip gloss

    Change of shoes

    Hairspray

    qTips

    Bobby pins

    Sweater /bolero

    Make up

    drip drops and water

    cough drops and day quill

    nail file

    Tweezers

    make up wipes

    heel guards (for the grass)

    phone charger

    super glue

    clear nail polish

    extra earring backs

    lint roller

    wrinkle release spray

    compact mirror

    tweezers

    small brush

    perfume

    hair ties

I don't need this personally but I have heard people recommend crochet hooks if you have a lot of buttons on your dress

    Your list is very helpful.

I would not think the hotels would keep anything like this for subsequent guests -- if that is what you are talking about. But this is certainly helpful to guests who also could have forgotten stuff or had a surprise need, just as the bridal party could have.
