David's Bridal has a bad rep - within the bridal groups I am in on Facebook, and among my friends, girls will make negative remarks about David's Bridal, although some will stand up for it. I decided to give it a shot for my first time trying on gowns, as I don't want to spend an arm and a leg on a dress. I walked into it not knowing/expecting to find anything good because it's David's Bridal, but I was shocked!
Since it was my first time trying on, I do have serious doubts - I really loved the dress, but should it be this easy? I only tried on 4 dresses. I made an appointment at another bridal boutique, just so I can try on a bit more. I'm wondering - has anyone only tried on a few gowns and fell in love? What are people's thoughts on David's Bridal? This dress was $1,400 with the veil, sash, and slip included in that price. Does it look cheap?
I am new to the whole wedding attire community and I do not know how to navigate it! What do you guys think?
