I just exchanged mine maybe a week ago. You just have to talk to a manager and tell them you're doing it for a higher-priced item. I also mentioned that if I couldn't exchange in-store I was going to purchase the dress online. Of course they want the sales to be reflected in their store so that might have helped. Good luck!
